La culture c'est comme la confiture..

quand on en n'a pas beaucoup, on l'etale!

Donc voila, je m'y connais en rien, mais j'aime bien apprendre des nouvelles choses, donc je me dis "tiens, si je m'abonnais a une newsletter culturelle?". Déja, fausse bonne idée, je la lis jamais, et puis en plus c'est toujours des trucs bizarres.. Et puis un jour je recois ca, et on me demande ce que j'en pense, et la je me dis quand meme, c'est bien fait ce truc-la, et puis je retourne faire un tour, et il y a des musiciens pas mal (bon tout n'est pas a mon gout non plus) mais surtout ca change souvent, et puis je trouve que c'est chouette d'avoir autre chose que les stéréotypes du cigare et Guantanamo Bay quand on parle de la Havane et de Cuba!
Je n'aurais surement jamais l'occasion d'aller la-bas vu que 1. je ne supporte pas la chaleur, et 2. je n'en ai pas les moyens, mais au moins je peux faire ma craneuse et parler de la culture underground de la Havane dans les diners mondains!!

Well I am no expert in anything really, so to "culturise" myself I decided to suscribe to a newsletter to test ou new sites. Well, not that good an idea as it only disappeared in the spam box, but then (that was after I made them inbox material!) I followed a link to Havana Cultura, which promotes contemporary culture in Havana. And it has to be said, it was quite good. So I went back, and it had been updated with new stuff. So I went back again-and thery were promoting a pianist, not my cup of tea, but then I did really like the article about the dance company the time after that.
I will probably never visit Cuba as 1. I can't stand the heat, and 2. I can't afford it!, but I thought it was nice to see something else that cigars and old cars on the website, it's far from stereotypical and now I can show off my knowledge of the undergroung scene in Havana!
